God's love for man, and man's love for God.
Design for Worship:
This week's Design for Worship teaches us that the great gifts of forgiveness and eternal life are beyond our capability to comprehend, yet God has given us these and other promises, beyond our sinful nature's imagination, even the very love which allows us to embrace Him.

Generous God, You prepare for us, Your children, good things that surpass our understanding. So, we pray, fill our hearts with great love for You, so that loving You above all other things we may receive Your promises which are greater than all we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

O God, who hast prepared for those who love thee such good things as pass man's understanding; Pour into our hearts such love toward thee, that we, loving thee above all things, may obtain thy promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
